Original color etching by Rene Carcan, and a wonderful classic example by this well-known Belgian artist. The artwork is numbered (29/750) and titled, and pencil signed in the typical manner for this artist. Rene Carcan (1925-1993) was primarily known as an accomplished print maker and sculptor - a student of Johnny Friedlaender and internationally known in his own right. His work is held within a plethora of museum and institutional collections. Condition is fine, a well inked and strongly printed example. The sheet is well preserved and clean. A look at the pics should give a good idea of appearance and condition. Measurements is 13” X 13” framed. Frame is in good condition with few scratches.
