| Hi my name is Sal Hamdy and I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I am a third generation antique dealer . My parents and my grandparents were in the antique business in Cairo and Alexandria Egypt, as well as London, UK. I sold my first major painting (Zoulouga) at age 18 and at that point I was hooked. I graduated from the Academy of art in Cairo and had a successful career in the movie industry in Egypt, England and France. In 1988 I arrived to the U.S. where Shelley and I met and married. Our antique adventure took us from Taos, New Mexico...on to Dallas, Texas...and finally culminating in Los Angles, California where we built a successful business. After many years of the fast pace of Los Angles we made a decision to relocate to a slower and better quality of life here in the "City Different". Shelley will pick it up from here.
